Bio

The Old School Arts Center is proud to honor the award winners of the 27th annual IMAGE Art Show held through November 15 to 19 at the Old School Arts Center in Sandstone. 

BEST IN SHOW

The Best of Show Award went to  Jamie Gillet of Ogilvie for "Pagan Bride".   She submitted her work in the Other Art Forms category. 

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD

The People's Choice Award went to Peg Skalicky of Beroun for "Elk on Birch" in the Opaque Painting category.

Artist Statement

The IMAGE Art Show is an annual event open to any artist in Region 7E (including the MN counties of Chisago, Kanabec, Isanti, Mille Lacs and Pine)  The Arts Show and the awards honor some of the finest art in the area.  Judges for the show were Melissa Metzler, founder and owner of the Flow Art Space Gallery in Minneapolis and James Grittner, professor emeritus in Art at the University of Wisconsin- Superior.
