Babies Are Artists, Too!

Seashell Painting! Join the Hallberg Center for the Arts, and Chisago Lakes Early Childhood Family Education (ECFE) for a FREE art and story time activity for children from Birth- Age 3. In this 45 minute class kids and parents will hear a story, or sing along with our instructors, before doing a fun and engaging art project. Painting encourages children to express their thoughts and feelings, fostering creativity and imaginative thinking and problem-solving skills as children choose colors, shapes, and forms which engages them in decision-making and critical thinking. Another great benefit of making seashell art with your little kids is fine motor practice. Whether your preschoolers and kindergartners are holding a paintbrush or even fingerprinting, seashell crafts are perfect for strengthening their finger and hand muscles.
