Kids Are Artists, Too! Free class at the Hallberg Center for the Arts
5521 East Viking Blvd
Wyoming, Minnesota 55092
Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art class the last Saturday of this month! The session begins with an inspiring picture story read by local storyteller and tutor, Ashley, from Keep it Up Tutoring, followed by an engaging art project led by local artist, Surelle. This month we will be reading Ablaze with Color, A Story of Painter Alma Thomas, written by Jeanne Walker Harvey. We will be making out own color field paintings! (Parents are requested to stay with young children.) This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. Thank you! This project also receives funding from the St. Croix Valley Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
