Kids Are Artists Too: "Scraps" story & color scraps collage making- FREE @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience the last Saturday of this month! This inclusive art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This month we will be reading Scraps, a book about beloved children’s illustrator & author Lois Ehlert. We will be using colorful paper scraps to create our own collage artwork! (Parents required to stay with young children.) This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
