Kids Are Artists Too: story & splash painting- FREE @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience the last Saturday of this month! This inclusive art class is for kids of all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This month we will be reading Action Jackson, a book about Jackson Pollock, an artist famous for his messy splattering style! We will be outdoors for this project and will be getting messy with splatter painting! Make sure to wear clothes and shoes that you can get messy! (Parents are required to stay with young children.) This FREE class was made possible by the voters of MN through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts & Cultural Heritage Fund!
