Kids Can be Artists, Too – FREE Last Saturday Art Classes!

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience the last Saturday of every month in 2024! Sign up for one of four 40 minute time slots, starting at 1PM. April showers bring May flowers, and this month we'll be making raindrop sun-catchers that sparkle like jewels! This art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story read by local storyteller and tutor, Ashley, and then is followed by an art project led by local artist Surelle. (Parents need to stay with younger children, please!) This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Minnesota State Arts Board and the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
