The Songwriters in the Round Series is proudly sponsored by the Hallberg Family Foundation A native son of northern Minnesota, PK Mayo grew up by a lake near the mining town of Eveleth. From an early age, when he was known as Paul Kennedy Mayasich, he soaked up a wide range of diverse styles of music coming over the airwaves of the local college radio station, KUMD. He has spent the majority of his life since then following the muse of that sound while recording, writing, singing and playing while stepping on the stage in 200+ shows a year. Bob Frey is a singer-songwriter who has lived and performed in the Twin Cities since 1993. Frey honed his craft in the bars and coffeehouses of his hometown Cleveland, Ohio, as well as in Oxford, Ohio and Chicago, IL. A longtime devotee to the art of writing and performing songs, Frey's songs have a strong melodic base which, coupled with his unique and memorable voice, draws and engages his audience and proves to be the perfect vehicle for his wry, intelligent lyrics. Cole Allen is one of the most exciting singer, guitarist & songwriter’s of contemporary rock and blues/rock music. This young touring and recording veteran has captivated audiences, both nationally and internationally, with his masterful guitar-playing and vocal prowess. As lead guitarist for Blind Pig Records’ artist, Sena Ehrhardt, and with his own power trio, Cole Allen Band, Allen has toured with/supported some of the biggest names in rock and blues music, including ZZ Top and B.B. King. https://wyomingcreativearts.org/upcoming-songwriters-series/songwriters-in-the-round-39
