Songwriters in the Round #69 at Hallberg Center for the Arts

The Hallberg Center for the Arts Proudly Presents: The 69th installment of Songwriters in the Round on our OUTDOOR MUSIC STAGE (weather permitting) - the Sunset Schooner. THE ABIDERS (Twin Cities, MN) put on an unforgettable show of Americana music with something for everyone - clever originals and blues, country, some folksy stuff too. These musicians have a groove - some special kind of chemistry - that sets their sound apart from the rest and connects with audiences. Their motto: If it ain’t fun, we ain’t doin’ it! Songwriters Series #69 will feature original music performed by The Abiders "power trio": the band’s dynamic singer/songwriter, Julie Weisenhorn, on vocals and rhythm guitar; Karlos Weisenhorn icing the proverbial musical cake with his cross-harp riffs reminiscent of John Mayall, Junior Wells, and Paul Butterfield; and Scott Dee with his unique, melodic style of percussive bass guitar on Fender Precision Bass, Stingray bass and Hofner “Beatle bass”. https://www.theabiders.net/ The Songwriters in the Round Series is proudly sponsored by the Hallberg Family Foundation.
