Guitar Playing Workshop @ 210 Gallery in Sandstone

Berklee College of Music graduate Ben Ranson will teach a guitar workshop on unaccompanied improvisation. If you want to learn how to improvise on an acoustic instrument, by yourself, this class will get you started. If you have some skills already, this class will give you new ideas that can be incorporated into your playing. Beginner to advanced. Join Ben at the 210 Gallery and Art Center, 210 Commercial Avenue in Sandstone, MN. This is free and open to all skill levels. We will learn a series of simple techniques. First, we will work on using drones , call and response phrases and very simple bass patterns with melody. Participants will learn a simple but powerful improvised piece of music.
