Hallberg Center for the Arts Introduces - The Gods Have Animal Minds by Walter Lab

The Hallberg Center for the Arts proudly presents Continuity/Discontinuity; The Gods Have Animal Minds, artwork by Walter Lab. Walter Lab is an artist who addresses social, psychological and political issues in his work. He makes paintings, videos and writings using formalist conventions to pursue social dialogue about group experience through his individual perception. There will be an Opening Reception on Thursday, August 21st from 5pm-7:30pm. Light refreshments and beverages will be served, along with coffee donated by White Pines Coffee and craft beer from the Uncommon Loon Brewery. The opening night reception also includes musical accompaniment from Erik Brandt! The show closes Saturday, September 13th at 4PM. This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. This project also receives funding from the St. Croix Valley Foundation and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin.
