ECRAC Resiliency Grant - Supporting Artists Through Change
The East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC) offers the Resiliency Grant to help artists, culture bearers, and arts organizations respond to unexpected challenges or seize sudden opportunities. This flexible funding, up to $600 per grant, can support creative projects in any format, including online, in-person, or hybrid approaches.

This grant supports urgent needs such as equipment replacement, emergency travel, or time sensitive collaborations. It also supports unexpected opportunities like last-minute invitations, pop-up exhibitions, or cultural gatherings. This grant is designed to be responsive, inclusive, and accessible supporting creative expression in all its forms, especially when life throws a curveball or opens a door.

Who Can Apply:
• Individual artists
• Culture bearers (those individuals preserving and sharing cultural traditions)
• 501c3 Arts organizations in East Central Minnesota

What Can Be Funded:
• Any art form or discipline, as defined by ECRAC in the grant guidelines
• Projects that are new and not already funded by another ECRAC grant
• Up to three Resiliency Grants may be awarded to the same applicant per fiscal year

2. What art project do you propose to do?
3. What anticipated impact will this project have for you as an artist, culture bearer, or organization?
4. What anticipated impact will this project have for others, & describe your open to the public experience?
5. How will you know that you have been successful?
6. Please explain how exactly you would spend the money.

All applications must be submitted through the ECRAC Grant Portal. Please refer to the tips below to help you navigate this online system.

Getting Started
On your first visit to the ECRAC Grant Portal, you will need to create a new account with a username and password. Please note that if you are applying as an organization, your organization can only have one username and password for the online system. Please be sure to keep this information as you will need it again to access the Portal for grant requirements and for all future requests.

Returning to an Application
Your application does not need to be completed in one session and can be returned to and edited until you formally submit the application. Please be sure to save your application often while working on it and before you exit the system. To return to your application, you can access the ECRAC Grant Portal through the Manage My Grant page. There you may logon using the email address and password you created the first time you entered.

Uploading Information
There are fields in the application that will require you to upload information (documents, media, etc.). You will need to follow the system directions regarding file size and uploading. Please note that your information may not be completely uploaded until you click “Save”. Be sure to save your application often so as not to lose any progress or information.

Submitting an Application
Once you have completed and reviewed your application, you may submit the application for funding consideration. Once an application has been submitted you will be able to view the application, but not edit or make any changes to it.
