We are so excited to be part of the book tour that Dean has been on. We (The Art of Words Group) have invited him to hold this time for our community to hear him describe his books and process more in depth. Join us to listen, ask him some questions and then have time for some casual chats about his newest book. In a separate event, those of us who are developing writers will have the opportunity to participate in the workshop Dean and Tami are developing. More to come on that in a separate event.

Join Franconia Sculpture Park and Heart of the Beast Puppet and Mask Theater in this 3 hour workshop where you will create a paper mache mask that you can then wear to the Puppets in the Park Halloween Hayride at Franconia on October 19th!

Join us at Franconia Sculpture Park on Saturday, October 5th at 7pm for a special screening of our 2023 5 Minute Film Festival finalists! This short film festival highlights talented filmmakers living in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
The top 15 films submitted to the Film Festival will be screened after the sun sets.
Bring some blankets, chairs and snacks! This screening will occur at Franconia's outdoor earthen amphitheater, or inside the Driscoll Education Center in the case of rain. Limited food and drink options will be available for sale.

This was the 37th year of IMAGE, an annual judged art show, sponsored by the East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC). We had 139 artists from Region 7E (the Minnesota Counties of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs, and Pine) enter the show!
Art on the Block is an annual event at Glädje, inviting all artists and makers to set up a booth in the greenspace next to our building! Sell your work for your own profits, get to know the community, and expand your creative network! Our goal with this event is to bring artists and makers together for the public to connect, shop, and learn. This event is FREE for the public and family friendly! We'll have artist demos and live music, come and enjoy a beautiful fall Lindstrom event.
