Turn Turn Turn returns to the Hallberg Center for the Arts! Members Adam Levy (guitar, vocals), Savannah Smith (guitar, vocals) and Barb Brynstad (bass, vocals) are all mainstays of the Minnesota music scene and together craft an infectious, pop-infused Americana. Even though Turn Turn Turn was born as a cover band, the group's original material – sweetheart alt-country folk-pop – quickly stole the spotlight. Admission is Free. Seating is limited, so please arrive early.
This collaborative art exhibit is all about "Connections", combining the artistic talents of members from both the Gallery 96 Art Center and the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community. Free Senior Art Class! This fun and creative project is designed especially for seniors! In this month's class we will be painting an acrylic sunflower painting. This class is excellent for beginners, and we will have everything you need to make this fun project. This class is a fun way to make friends, and get creative in a relaxed, supportive environment. This FREE class was made possible by a grant through the East Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board.
Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art class the last Saturday of this month! The session begins with an inspiring picture story read by local storyteller and tutor, Ashley, from Keep it Up Tutoring, followed by an engaging art project led by local artist, Surelle. This month we will be reading Drawing With Scissors, by Keesia Johnson and we will be using colorful paper and scissors to create a masterpiece! (Parents are requested to stay with young children.)
