Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art class the 4th Saturday of this month! This inclusive art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This Month we will be reading "From Here to Infinity!" By Sarah Suzuki, and making dot painted pumpkins!
"Windsongs" in the Underground Gallery, sponsored by Daphne Molnar of Remax/Synergy and Glädje Galleries, features the art of local artist, Barbara VanDell Robinson. In this show, Barbara delves into the tranquil depths of forests and the serene beauty of trees. This collection invites you into a world where the silent guardians of the forest offer solace and a reprieve from the clamor of everyday life.
"Juxtapostions" in the Freemore Gallery, sponsored by Deb Hoffmeister, features the art of Carole Bersin and Nancy Conger. Carole Bersin is a drawer and painter primarily working in narrative realism with art as a way of processing her experience as a human being in the world. In her work she seeks to depict the everyday stories in the fabric of existence - past, present and future - that connect us all. Nancy Conger is a multi-media artist, performer, musician and writer. Her visual works are in the realm of quirky, unusual and thought-provoking.
The Songwriters in the Round series, sponsored by the Hallberg Family Foundation and a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council with support from Forest Lake's Music Connection, continues its tradition of showcasing local and regional songwriting talent. For Episode #62, the Hallberg Art Center welcomes musicians Tom Mobry, Skarlett Woods & Clayton Ryan. Admission is Free. Seating is limited, so please arrive early.
