Kids Are Artists, Too! Free Painting at East Central MN PRIDE!

Bring your child and their imagination to East Central MN Pride in the Park up in Pine City at Robinson Park. Kids paint for free! We provide the easels. paint, brushes and professional canvases - everything you need for your child to explore painting and take a home their very own masterpiece! This event is sponsored by First Resource Bank of Wyoming. East Central Minnesota Pride is the yearly celebration with our LGBTQIA community of East Central Minnesota. It is just one of a few prides held in a rural community in the U.S.

Franconia Midsummer Pride Party

Celebrate Pride with the St Croix Valley community at Franconia Sculpture Park’s Midsummer Pride Party! This family friendly event will feature free art-making workshops led by Edson Rosas, Sebastian Duncan-Portuondo, and Franconia staff, two drag shows from Tooth & Nails Productions, face painting and temporary tattoos, and a dance party to end the evening! Deep Roots Concessions will be onsite selling food all day.

Songwriters in the Round #68 at Hallberg Center for the Arts

Turn Turn Turn returns to the Hallberg Center for the Arts! Members Adam Levy (guitar, vocals), Savannah Smith (guitar, vocals) and Barb Brynstad (bass, vocals) are all mainstays of the Minnesota music scene and together craft an infectious, pop-infused Americana. Even though Turn Turn Turn was born as a cover band, the group's original material – sweetheart alt-country folk-pop – quickly stole the spotlight. Admission is Free. Seating is limited, so please arrive early.

Hallberg Center for the Arts & Gallery 96 present: Connections Art Exhibit

This collaborative art exhibit is all about "Connections", combining the artistic talents of members from both the Gallery 96 Art Center and the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community. Sponsored by Gallery 96 and the Forest Lake Lions. There will be an Opening Reception on Thursday, May 21 from 5pm-7:30pm. Light refreshments and beverages will be served, along with pie donated by the Village Inn, coffee donated by White Pine Coffee and craft beer from the Uncommon Loon Brewery. The opening night reception also includes musical accompaniment from Mega Yacht Jazz Combo!
