The Creative Collective is a free, relaxed group where you can explore your artistic interests without the pressure of perfection. We meet monthly, offering a guided project or the opportunity to work on your own ideas. It’s the perfect place to connect, have fun, and make new friends in a supportive, stress-free environment. Join us every Second Wednesday of the month from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM for open classroom time. Stay for the entire session or drop in when you can—it's completely up to you! Hallberg Center for the Arts Introduces - Good Bones, a Collaborative Art Exhibit

Please join us for this collaborative show featuring art that acknowledges humanity's inherent goodness while recognizing our flaws. It conveys a message of hope, reminding us of our capacity for compassion, kindness, and redemption despite our shortcomings. Come visit us for the Grand Opening on May 22nd from 5-7:30PM. There will be live music, and snacks & beverages will be served, including coffee donated by White Pines Coffee and craft beer from the Uncommon Loon Brewery. The show runs through June 14th - so stop by our open hours if you don't make the opening!

Songwriters in the Round #57 at Hallberg Center for the Arts

The Hallberg Center for the Arts Proudly Presents: THE SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND SERIES, Featuring the music of The Luke LeBlanc Trio! Admission is Free. Seating is limited, so please arrive early! Luke LeBlanc is a Minneapolis-based singer-songwriter who delivers dynamic and versatile original performances that feature a warm, organic merging of rootsy folk and pop.

Kids Are Artists Too: "Scraps" story & color scraps collage making- FREE @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience the last Saturday of this month! This inclusive art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This month we will be reading Scraps, a book about beloved children’s illustrator & author Lois Ehlert. We will be using colorful paper scraps to create our own collage artwork!

Gimme Indie Rock! Headliner Kiss the Tiger will bring their high-energy rock ‘n’ roll to the main stage, with an opening set by Prairie Fire Lady Choir. Juneteenth & Pride (Music @ Franconia)

Celebrate Pride at FSP with the Midwest’s most authentic tribute to The Grateful Dead, plus a special guest performance by Wake Up the Heads. The day will also feature an all-ages drag show from Tooth & Nails Productions, an art market featuring LGBTQIA+ artists, and free drop-in art activities! Deep Roots Concessions will be onsite selling food all day. We’ll also have a drum jam and workshop (bring your own drums and noise makers!). Pride Party Grateful Dead tribute up and coming LGBTQIA+ artists performing possible puppet/drag show $20/ car

Mother’s Day Pasta Class

Come make homemade pasta and enjoy shaping the noodles in this hands-on, kid- friendly, food class! Adults, you can bring 1-2 kids with you. Kids can shape the noodles however they like and will get to enjoy making dough, playing with their food, learning more about food, and then eating it for dinner that very night. We will make a batch of pasta from scratch and by hand, there will be no appliances used in this class. You and your children will shape the pasta in class and take it home to cook for dinner that night. We will NOT be cooking pasta in class.
