Join Allison Legler for this interactive class, as she teaches you how to make your own loaf of cold process soap! This is a great class for a beginner or someone who wants to get some reminders on the process. We will start by learning everything we need to know. The basic science and safety, how to build a recipe of your own, and learning about add-ons and choosing your ingredients! Each spot will take home a made loaf of soap, which is 10-12 bars of soap. Color and fragrance will be there for those who wish to utilize it. The mold is yours to keep!

Unexpected Company Chorale Presents “From Minnesota, With Love”

Unexpected Company Chorale (UCC) is thrilled to announce its upcoming Send-Off Concerts, titled From Minnesota, With Love, to be held on Friday, May 2 at 7:30 PM at the Chisago Lakes High School Performing Arts Center in Lindstrom, and again on Sunday, May 4 at 3:00 PM at Chisago Lake Lutheran Church in Center City. These special performances mark the final stateside appearances before the chorale departs for its concert tour of southern Sweden, May 8–20, and serve as the grand finale of UCC’s 40th Anniversary season.

Free Art Classes- For Seniors with Memory Loss

Join us for a special art class for seniors experiencing memory loss and their caregivers. In this FREE class, offered by the Hallberg Center for the Arts in partnership with the Chisago County Senior Center, participants will create art side by side. Thanks to a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, both will have the opportunity to make their own artwork, build creativity, and strengthen their bond while creating lasting memories. Join us in April for a creative workshop where we'll craft handmade stamps and spring-themed greeting cards!

Senior Artistic Outreach, Free Art Class for Seniors @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Lilac Acrylic Painting - Free Senior Art Class This fun and creative project is designed especially for seniors! In this month's class we will be painting a Springtime scene, filled with bright lilacs, with acrylic paint. This is a great painting for beginners, and we will have everything you need to make this beautiful artwork! This class is a fun way to make friends, and get creative in a relaxed, supportive environment. This FREE class was made possible by a grant through the East Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board.
