Sandra Cowing, a watercolor artist and recent Rush City resident, has been painting for the past seven years after retiring from teaching elementary children in the Twin Cities.

It's already time to tell you about our next monthly volunteer day! We are asking for your help On February 18th, anytime between 2 and 8pm. We need your help to install our next exhibit. Upstairs will be a joint show by Jeffery Hansen and Jerusha Rose, and downstairs will be photography by Stephen Hadeen.

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience on the 4th Saturday of every month! This art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This month we will be reading Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos, and we will use paint, markers, cupcake liners and tissue paper to create a cute monkey with a colorful headdress! Every month, the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community brings in songwriters to perform at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in an "In The Round" format, performing their original pieces of music. This month's show brings two duos, The Twins of Franklin and Cole Allen with Sena Ehrhardt to the Freemore Stage. Admission is Free. Songwriters in the Round starts promptly at 7pm. Nathan and Aaron inspire us with a performance of their selection of "Valentunes". This portion of our program is funded by the Minnesota State Arts Board grant we received for regional performers and we are THRILLED to finally have Nathan perform in the Listening Room at the 210.
