Join poet and essayist Laurie Allmann to create stories and poems designed for spoken word performance. In the first part of the workshop, Laurie will give you writing prompts to help you create your composition, then we’ll have an informal “open mic” featuring your own writings and selected readings of works by other regional writers. Learn to play with rhythm, pace and voice to engage an audience. You'll fine tune a unique style that works for you. No pressure, just fun!

No-Sew Sock Bunnies- Senior Artistic Outreach This fun and creative craft is designed especially for seniors! In this month's session you'll learn how to make an adorable no-sew sock bunny. Choose your color, and ribbon to accent this bunny- add, eyes and a nose to make something sweet and unique! This class is a fun way to make friends, and get creative in a relaxed, supportive environment! This FREE class was made possible by a grant through the East Regional Arts Council and the Minnesota State Arts Board.

Upstairs will be a joint show by Jeffery Hansen and Jerusha Rose, and downstairs will be photography by Stephen Hadeen.
