Songwriters in the Round #51 at Hallberg Center for the Arts

Every month, the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community brings in 3 songwriters to perform at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in an "In The Round" format, performing their original pieces of music. But, this month we are changing it up a bit, and bringing this band which will perform live on the Freemore Stage.. Kaatwalk is a Minneapolis/St. Paul-based artist. Her show features many relatable songs written by Kaat, such as “Monster,” “Rum in Your Coffee,” “Stop the Rain,” “Can’t Be Alone,” “Just Kinda One of Those Things,” and many more.

Kids Can Be Artists Too: Fall Leaf Relief Painting - FREE

Free Saturday Art Class for All Ages & Abilities (even the young at heart)! October 26th, 2024 1-3PM Join us at the Hallberg Center for the Arts for a free art experience on the last Saturday of every month in 2024! This inclusive class is designed for all ages and skill levels. The session begins with an inspiring picture story read by local storyteller and tutor, Ashley, followed by an engaging art project led by local artist, Surelle. (Parents are required to stay with younger children.) Get ready to create a beautiful leaf relief painting using leaves and spray watercolor.

Senior Artistic Outreach - Free art class for Seniors

Learn to draw an adorable owl, add details like feathers, stars and leaves. Using Scratch art as a medium we will make a colorful fall drawing; this class is easy and fun! This class is great for all skill levels, but this particular version is geared to seniors ( 55+) only. This FREE class was made possible by a grant through the East Regional Arts Council. This Grant enables us to bring free art classes to artists who are seniors, encouraging creativity, vitality, and community. Cost: FREE, but please consider becoming a member to support more programming like this.
