The Hallberg Center for the Arts is proud to feature the music of Aleah Treiterer, Tom Peschges, and Tim Fast to our Freemore Music Stage! Admission is Free. Seating is limited, so please arrive early! This event is funded by a grant from the East Central Regional Arts Council general funds. Sugarbush Sound Garden

Minneapolis-based Composer JG Everest brings his immersive, outdoor "Sugarbush Sound Garden" sound installation to Wild River State Park for a special outdoor "Concert You Can Move Through" as part of Wild River's annual Sugarbush event, tapping sugar maple trees and cooking down the sap to make Maple Syrup. Free and Family-Friendly, there will be hands-on chances to learn more about Maple Syrup production and the many traditions and meaning around this annual celebration.

April 1st Applications are Open to Apply!

The East Central Regional Arts Council (ECRAC) is currently welcoming new and former applicants to apply for arts grant funding. ECRAC funds art projects in the Minnesota counties of Chisago, Isanti, Kanabec, Mille Lacs and Pine, known as region 7E. ECRAC provides arts funding to artists, culture bearers, arts organizations, nonprofits, and local units of government, or organizations sponsoring art events, located in region 7E. ECRAC accepts grant applications now through 11:59 pm on April 1, 2025.

Kids Are Artists Too: "Monet's Cat" & Waterlilies - FREE @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

This Month we will be reading Monets Cat, and will be making a painting using every day materials to create our own impressionist water lily painting! This inclusive class is designed for all ages and skill levels. The session begins with an inspiring picture story read by local storyteller and tutor, Ashley, followed by an engaging art project led by local artist, Surelle.

The Ranger Art Review at the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Artwork from the next generation of artists: An art exhibit by the students of the Forest Lake Area High School & Middle School. Displayed in the beautiful Hallberg Center for the Arts! Opening Ceremony from 4:00 to 7:30 on March 20, 2025; light refreshments will be served and coffee from White Pines Coffee. Forest Lake Orchestra will be performing from 4:30 - 6:00.
