Calling Singers, Poets, Comics & Writers! Join us for Open Mic Night on Friday, February 21st from 6:30-830PM. Perform a a short set of songs (online Karaoke available), read poetry or try out jokes! Kids Are Artists Too: Monkey/Headdress - FREE @ the Hallberg Center for the Arts

Come to the Hallberg Center for the Arts to experience a free art experience on the 4th Saturday of every month! This art class is for all ages and abilities. Class begins with a brief, inspiring picture story, and then is followed by an art project. This month we will be reading Frida Kahlo and Her Animalitos, and we will use paint, markers, cupcake liners and tissue paper to create a cute monkey with a colorful headdress! Songwriters in the Round #54 at Hallberg Center for the Arts

Every month, the Wyoming Area Creative Arts Community brings in songwriters to perform at the Hallberg Center for the Arts in an "In The Round" format, performing their original pieces of music. This month's show brings two duos, The Twins of Franklin and Cole Allen with Sena Ehrhardt to the Freemore Stage. Admission is Free. Songwriters in the Round starts promptly at 7pm. Seating is limited, so please arrive early! The Songwriters in the Round Series is proudly sponsored by the Hallberg Family Foundation.

Ruckus in the Bearbrush

The ruckus is a rowdy trio of skilled multi-instrumentalist musicians who are full of shenanigans, stories, and song. Their inspiring music is loved by audiences of all ages. They bring forth long forgotten folk tales, history, and music from the Appalachian territories of the United states. Through their story and song they transport audiences back to a simpler time.

Vasaloppet Art Show

The Kanabec County Art Association is pleased to announce that Minnesota artist Surelle Strike is our Gallery Guide for the Vasaloppet Art Show and Gift Gallery 2025. Surelle is a painter and printmaker. Whether she is using paint or ink, she incorporates visual narratives, symbolic details and storytelling to create a connection with viewers in powerful and personal ways. She attended classes at Minneapolis College of Art and Design and Columbus College of Art and Design and began painting in 2018.
